In celebration of Extension week. ISU Greene County Extension & Outreach is offering Spend Smart. Eat Smart. Good Nutrition on a Budget program.
Grocery prices are rising, and Iowans may be looking for strategies to eat healthy without breaking the bank. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach’s “Spend Smart. Eat Smart.” resource is perfect for households with this goal.
Area residents are invited to join Ann Parker, ISU registered dietitian and food and health specialist, for a presentation about how to eat healthy on a budget. This Spend Smart. Eat Smart. Good Nutrition on a Budget event will be held Wednesday, April 20, from 10:15 to 11 am in Churdan at the library, and from 12:15 to 1 pm at the Greene County Extension office in Jefferson. There is no charge for the program.
